Another Cash for Clothes sack and something about Ca rbon Monoxide Poisoning, not quite what I was hoping for !
But not a bill or threat either!
Will keep my fingers crossed for more positive things through the post for you PG.
Treating myself to a night out tomorrow and a glass or two of your fav stuff so am getting giddy here as can finally see some light after heavy work schedule!

 I have car trouble !!!
Temperature gauge went through the roof then warning light came on ( my dash is like a disco at the best of times with warning lights popping up left right and centre and then going away again ) This was the Coolant Light, it popped up for a split second but disappeared again as quick as a flash ,but the temp gauge continued to climb !
Anyway I pulled over , put my motor mechanics head on and knowledgeably () stuck my head under the bonnet . Filled the water coolant thingy with water again and continued on my merry way. The light didnt come back on again but the temperature still climbed !! Now the old boy( the car, not Mr Pinot) is safely parked on the drive and I will check for puddles of water underneath at regular intervals. I did notice one yesterday but put it down to the air con but then I remembered I hadnt used the Air Con, so it cant have been that ! Ooooh I hope its not going to be expensive

Oh no I hope it was just a mad half hour and the car will be better for a bit of R & R.
Fat chance I know.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Hmmm well the car still looks poorly. Sent DD2 out earlier to scrabble around underneath and she confirmed there were two puddles.
Then I realised we needed to go out again tonight, so off we havetrundled with emergency water supplies, but although it was a bit chuggy and the temp went up we still made it back home again. Got to go out again at 8 ish to collect DD1 so heres hoping we return. If it all goes quiet.......send out the search party, I could be broken down in country lane somewhere !
Mr Pinot due back late tonight and I will be able to use his car for the next few days as he will be taking the train, but he goes away next Monday again and will be needing his car. I really dont want to be stuck in the school hols with no transport, but then again it could be a blessing in disguise if Mums Taxi is suddenly very poorly !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hope you are home safely and the car behaves tomorrow.
I know what you mean mine keeps cutting out and I have been told its something to do with the exhaust, really need to get it sorted.
Think that is why I have been reluctant to go anywhere to be honest.
Off to bed soon, so take care catch up tomorrow I hope

Have you arrived back safely? Grrr to cars, they're such loose cannons. One minute they're fine, the next they land you with a whopping bill. Fingers crossed it's something minor. Does Mr P turn his hand to car repairs or do you use a garage?
Well done to your DD on her gig. Bet you were so proud!
And thanks for the tip on the handwash. I shall get some on Friday if they have it in our store. And I will pay for it all in coppers which is causing me much merriment lately. Shame I don't have a posh bottle to decant it into. We're using a cheapy Boots one at the moment because I bought it with points, but it's a bit slimey so I'll be glad when we've finished it (it was only 69p's worth of points, but I'm too tight nowadays to chuck it out!!).
LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,3320 -

Yes I'm back !!:j But guess what, the damn car was perfect, the temp gauge stayed where it should of and there was no water leaking out of the bottom. I think someones playing tricks on me ! Mr Pinot is good at all things cars, but unfortunatley rarely here to fix them so it tends to drag on and sometimes I have no choice but to use a mechanic. I am still waiting for him to find time to sort the dishwasher !! That been broken since January I think !!
I like to decant into poshish bottles, I have actually found an old Molton Brown shower gel bottle lurking in the back of the bathroom cabinet today ( lord only knows why I was hanging onto that, memories of days gone by possibly ?!) so I have decanted the fake MB as well , and I found some matching body lotion as well. It smells slightly odd as I'm sure its been there a while
! As I am so excited about this new find , I checked the price for the Molton Brown ( £18 a bottle ) and I then googled the name on the newfound bottles and I found loads of info. Its actually A£dis own range and it seems to be that there is lots of it to be found in the A£di stores in Ireland for some reason , everyone was raving about it . Shame Ryana!r dont do those 1p flights anymore to Dublin ! Oh and apparently Thursday is a good day for delivery ! If I find anymore MB bottles, I could always post them to you for you to decant into as well, then we really will be Keeping Up Appearances ! :rotfl:
