Barcelona Stag.. Advice Pls..

Hi all,

I will be attempting to organise a stag do in Barcelona leaving on the 27th of July for 3 nights. I would appreciate any advice on stag friendly cheap hotels / hostels near the centre, and also good places to go during the night and day.

The cheapest flights i can find that are at the most sociable hours are with easyjet for about £100 return. This is from Stansted to Barcelona's main airport.

Also has anyone used https://www.roomsforbaboons.com ? ? ? I am awaiting a call back from them regarding accommodation. Anyone know if they a good company?

Thanks in advance

a group of us stayed at the Auto Hogar last year, they were fine with groups. Walking distance to most of the places like Las Ramblas, but it was cheap and did the job.

During the day trips to Nou Camp, or down by the marina/port or on the beach enjoying the sights at that time of year as it'll be hot

You will love it, its a great destimation for a stag party!

I organised a hen weekend for 30 last november. Try looking at https://www.oh-barcelona.com We used them for a group of apartments, each sleeping 56 and it worked out quite good value.

    OOps each sleeping 5/6!!!

    thats some apartment....;)
  • I've got a quote for the auto hogar, which looks good... the guy on the phone also recommended the espana, which works out a little more expensive but they are apartments so you get your own kitchen which is handy, especially as beers need a fridge!

I'm waiting for oh-barcelona to get back to me.

Thanks for all your help so far. I'm sending out an e-mail tomorrow to the possible stag dooers...

anymore info is always greatly appreciated.
  • I assume as it's not the football season we'll be lucky to catch a barcelona game.. do they have pre-season friendlys though as we'll be there on the evening of sunday 29th july...

You'll need airconditioning at that time of year.

I know its not very cultural or Spanish but if there is a large group it is worth visiting Chicago Rock Cafe at the top of Las Ramblas for a meal. We went there before heading out on Saturday night and they were quite happy to seat 30 rowdy women and the food was all good. Some of the girls bought souvenir glasses in boxes to take home. Guess how many actually made it home in one piece.....! None!
  • Hi,
I think i'm going to go with Oh-Barcelona. I have found 2 apartments in the same building, one sleeps 8 the other 6. The girl even rang the landlady to ask if she was OK with a stag do and she said it was fine. It works out at about £66 each for 3 nights. Bargain!
    Thanks for the suggestion minifan
  • All booked up.. thanks all... Any more suggestions on what we can do during the day when we're there?
