This pre-sale has now started. However, I can't believe how expensive the tickets are, for this gig, and gigs in Ireland generally.0

Unless he has Elvis lined up, there's no way these tickets won't be way cheaper than face value on ebay. What has happened to Rice? He seems to have gone from a promising artist with 'intimate' gigs to a stadium rocker in the space of a few months????0

You and me both !! I was in a state of  when I saw how much these were going to be selling for - I was all for doing a "Dublin-Babyyyyy", and hoiking myself over there to see a few old faces
but at that price, I'm not bothering.
I can remember just a few short years ago paying £6.00 a ticket for this guy.....
Can't see that happening again in a hurry, more's the pity. 0 -
            Heya LD

I'm still shocked that he's doing stadium gigs over here. Seems to me that someone in his record company just has the wrong idea about him and the stage for his music.
Either that, or he's got greedy.....
Even tickets for The Frames are expensive over there though

Just heard that Lisa has quit the band. The official statement on his website is:
After much thought and discussion Damien has decided that his professional relationship with Lisa Hannigan has run its creative course. As a result Lisa will not be appearing at any of the upcoming live shows. Lisa is embarking on her own artistic endeavours and there are no plans for them to work together in the foreseeable future. The current band on tour at the moment are - Damien Rice, Joel Shearer, Shane Fitzsimons, Tom Osander & Vyvienne Long.
Find it hard to get excited about the upcoming shows now.0
