She may actually have a handle on the job by now so could be a difficult
Set her up for a fall, something that causes a detriment to the bottom line but not big enough to bring the place down.
The key will be it has to be something the father has to get involved so the son cannot cover up.
Or get the GF s***g a customer/supplier,0 -
You just find other job as soon as possible!
If the atmosphere is bad and you don't feel secure what's the point? I've spent 5 years in the company where it started to get really bad in 2009. But I was still thinking that it will either get better or I should maybe stick to what I have as they will be willing to keep long-term employees. It was just getting worse and when they eventually made decision to close the depertament it was too late to find jobs in my field. So here I am with no job since Oct. 2010.
Don't think about boss or his stupid son just think about yourself!0 -
Inform her from the moment she started empire building you would not stand by and let her undermine you. Don't divulge all your operational knowledge and experience (hold things back which may be significant). Learn to play the workplace politics game and ensure you don't leave yourself open in future.
Don't permit her to impose her personality over you to your detriment.
Because p!ssing off the boss' girlfriend, and hindering the develpment of the business is going to help how exactly? On any level?
As far as I can see, following this advice just gains you an enemy on top of the other problems you already have.0 -
I'd say find another job and leave when it's been confirmed rather than setting people up for a fall or kicking off about it. Use it as an opportunity to go on to bigger and better things than an opportunity to get a bad reference and bad feeling.0

I don't think this is the greatest plan - sabotaging the workplace, when it gets discovered, will only end up with you getting sacked for gross misconduct.0 -
Do you have regular one to one's with your boss?
If you do, that is your time to mention about the training that you thought you were going to get. Perhaps they have forgotten that they were going to teach you all these things or perhaps it's just not relevant to the role.
As for the rest of it, there is not really much you can do. So saying in the workplace no matter who she is, she should not really be treated any differently to any other member of staff but in practice that doesn't always happen.
Grit your teeth and smile politely, bring the training issue up. You only have to deal with her two days a week.0 -
Aren't you supposed to be issued with your contract fo employment within a certain time frame by law? Bit worried it's taking so long to get you one..0

You are, within 8 weeks, but there's not a lot of sanction if you don't - if you get to an employment tribunal then it adds to the award you might get if you win.Aren't you supposed to be issued with your contract fo employment within a certain time frame by law? Bit worried it's taking so long to get you one..
However, if you don't have one, then certain things are assumed in terms of how much notice you have to give / they have to give, how much holiday you get etc.Signature removed for peace of mind0
