Is it worth sending complaint to Tescos

We were looking at mobile phones in our local tesco store. They where advertising the Samsung Galaxy Mini for £10 a month, 250 mins, 5000 texes, 500m data and on a 12 month contract.

We thought this was a very good deal so decided to sign up. We where then told it was a 24 month contract. I showed them there a4 size poster which stated it was on a 12 month contract. They then removed the poster and said it should say 24 months.

We still took out the contract over 24 months as was still a good deal. I asked them to photo copy the poster for me so I could write a complant to there head office.

Is it worth doing?

No harm - may ensure the poster is removed from other stores

Also report it to COnsumer Direct, that way the regulators will data to show what has happened should it happen again in the future.
