o2 priority moments freebies and offers (**updated**)

I just popped into my local HMV as the app said there was one day left on the '20% off everything' offer. When I accessed the offer it said it was still valid but the bloke on the till said the offer expired yesterday. I was standing there with my code but he wouldn't accept it as he had 'to go by what the computer says'. So I left empty-handed. Are the companies not talking to each other? Who's at fault here?

Seems to me as though HMV don't want to honor their offers! Why make an offer if you then don't want to give it!

I used my code today without any problems in Watford.

My HMV code was rejected tonight at the Metrocentre, Gateshead. Offer on phone said it finished tomorrow......HMV said it finished yesterday. Wouldn't budge. Either O2 have dropped a bollock with this or HMV have got jittery with all the money they are giving away.

I was not happy!!!!

Got my free Haribo's earlier in week at Accesorise, was looking round store to get something cheap clicked on the app where it then said no purchase required!

Used my priority moments 20% off in hmv today in Chichester, worked fine, only thing that didn't go well was the till broke haha, the guy said it always happens with priority moments lol

HMV offer has been now changed be valid until 5/11/12, but this is about the 4th time I've seen it extended, so it could run and run.

Its a good offer for xmas pressies, and brings HMV's prices in line with what they should really be. I wouldn't shop there without it.

ohhh thanks for the heads up - I LOVEE their hot choc but :eek: at the prices (i rarly but hot drinks out and last time I got one I remembered why!!)
