o2 priority moments freebies and offers (**updated**)

I was hoping to pick up some of the items mentioned on here recently such as the perfume, rucksack and chocolates, but it says nearest location Plymouth/Poole for most of them...

I have location services switched on, on my phone and it recognises that my location is Southampton, but is saying that Plymouth is 3000 miles away :-| So I wondered if this was just a glitch, or are all Southampton (and indeed all the cities near to it) stores likely to be sold out of these items?

That's weird. When you see an offer try scrolling down and viewing other locations see if you get one in your town. Not ideal but all I can think of, failing that I would go into an O2 shop and ask them, my local shop are really helpful

On the iPhone it gives you the option to search by location and brand. I think at the bottom it says search. Not sure though as I don't have the app in front of me.

I got my freebie rucksack yesterday from WHSmith. I searched round for it and couldn't find it, asked at till and they had them so do ask at the till first. Also got the Fergie book for £10 that's the best price (even on Amazon its £11.25) so that's a xmas gift done. Cant get freebie chocs and perfume nearest is about 15 miles away :-(

Collected mine from Newcastle this morning, definitely don`t need to buy anything, just took my name and email address, a really nice freebie.

You're reading it wrong. It will say no purchase necessary.

Soooo disappointed after driving down to pick up my free D&G perfume at the Forge in Glasgow to be told by assistant that they didn't have any yet and to come back another day and try! Did feel that the assistant quite enjoyed sending me away with a flea in my ear! Even worse that the 10 mile round trip was the fact I did a 'use it now' so have probably lost the chance completely. Would be more helpful if they didn't show that they were avaiable when they are clearly not!

I'm in Portsmouth, shows 18 rucksacks in Commercial Road, Portsmouth - but they don't have any. For the chocolates my nearest location is Chichester, second nearest Southampton. So I think it is the settings on your phone.
