If you have iPhone you hold the top button in .. And the click the round menu button on front of phone and this then take a photo of whatever is on your screen ... Hth

i tried our screenshot and our local wh smith said they wouldnt accept it as the little circle on the screen needs to be moving but they accepted the one in argos, so hit and miss really x

I've done this when I've asked my daughter to pick stuff up for me but I wonder how it works if you have one of those "expires in 10 minutes" codes.

The WHSmith book code said 'expires in 15 minutes' but it wasn't a unique code, so screenshots worked for me. I assume some of these 'expires' codes will be unique, it's just hit and miss I think!

screenshots wont always work in whsmith ive used two diff stores for diff deals recently and both said to me they need to see the little circle going round to be able to accept the offer so be careful peeps.

Generally stores look for an active code (animated dots/stars) rather than a screenshot.

I've always had this problem with the WHSmiths. I have a Blackberry and nothing ever revolves or flashes on the code screen so I've given up trying to redeem those offers.
