Housing benefit extended payment after rapid reclaim

Hello,
If you have been claiming JSA and HB for over 26 weeks then you should be able to claim for an HB 4 weeks' extended payment.
However, if you stop claiming JSA for 2 weeks because you got two weeks' work, then made a rapid reclaim after this 2 weeks' job finished, does the clock start again for the purposes of eligibility of HB extended payment, i.e. if you then got a permanent job two months after you started the rapid reclaim, would you be entitled to the extended payment or would the fact that you stopped claiming for 2 weeks stop you being eligible?

there has to be no break in the JSA claim to qualify for the run on.0

Really? You can understand why people claiming JSA and HB might turn down a week's work if this is the case. :-~skater_kat wrote: »there has to be no break in the JSA claim to qualify for the run on.0 -
