Switching from Prepayment Meter

I have been on prepayment meter for over 2 years now, as prices are increasing i decided to do comparison and change to monthly DD or online tariff.

The last 12 months, i have paid about £560 on gas and £360 on electricity which is £920 for a year on 3 bedroom mid terrace house.

I have gone to Uswitch, Energy-helpline and Moneysupermarket to do my comparison, but there isn't any option for me to compare the cheapest provider on non prepayment meters.

As soon as i input all the details on each website, i only have the option to compare on prepayment and not other tariffs.
Any way round this please?

I'm not really sure why you are having a problem. On Uswitch for example you enter your payment method / plan type & it then asks the same question for the new plan (I've just checked). Al you need do is click on the option & choose your preferred method.

You may also want to check whether any suggested providers will charge you to swap the meter and / or require a security deposit if they do so.

It may also be worth a look at what ebico charges in your area - as they charge the same flat rate regardless of payment method
