We are the opposite, our buyers are delaying and asking to complete mid jan, accepted offer August no chain etc.
We are desperate to complete, I know how you feel!!
Could you ask that they at very least exchange now but delay completion at worst? When have you got in mind to complete-or are you getting nowhere with that either?

Again, just to repeat what has been said, you can threaten to pull out but you have invested so much time in it, and no doubt so much stress that do you really want to lose the house. Problem with threatening is you do have to be prepared to follow it through, which is scary!
I think as suggested above, give a timescale and stick to it. Best of luck, keep us updated

Ask your solicitor and EA exactly what is causing the delay, then what needs doing once that's been sorted out. They can check up the chain.

In the past, I've found it far more useful to speak directly to the EAs up and down the chain, and even the buyers/sellers themselves.

On one occasion, by talking to my buyer's EA, I found out that my own EA had been telling me fibs about the buyer being on the verge of dropping out.

On another occasion, by talking directly to the vendor it was easier to judge whether a delay was for genuine reasons, or whether they were getting 'cold feet' etc. (But be nice - not aggressive! It's much harder to mess people about if they are being nice to you!)

I asked my EA for the names and numbers of the other EAs in the chain. The other EA then contacted their client and asked if they were happy about direct contact.
