Hey we had to furnish an empty 2 bed flat which cost us around £1000 for everything, quite a lot of the furnature was flatpack but the more expensive items were the fridge freezer, washing machine, bed, and wardrobe. Hope this is helpful.

Should be as simple as writing a list of what furniture you'd expect to have to buy - do you want to include white goods for your kitchen? Is it just the cabinets etc that are fitted?

Back when i furnished one of these (5 yrs ago), I paid:

    £400 sofabed
    £300 double bed
    £300 washing machine
    £300 fridge
    £150 electric cooker

All the above was brand new, and mostly good brand-name stuff
