I have a crack than runs from window sill to base of the morter (it does not go down to the brick below the dash. I would like to amend this by filling it will something that isnt that obvious when I do it. What shoulkd I be filling it with for a good job? I dont mind if its slighly off colour as it is on the back wall, as long as the weather over time will blend it in.
Any help appreciated

mix some mortar with a 4-1 mix. use either the correct plaster sand, or builders sand. they both work ok.
you can add some waterproofing if you really need to.
you can get all these items at wickes etc...Get some gorm.0 -
There is a very good chance of this cracking again if you use a mortar mix.
Consider a flexible mastic instead - if the render is painted, something that is paintable so not silicone0 -
try this , it's flexible , and yiou can just brush it over the crack http://www.trade1st.co.uk/productdetail/Flexible-Filler/103.aspx0
