first utility, lucky escape or bad luck?

Some comparison sites say that I the cheapest supplier for me is First Utility saving me £30 on npower's and £41 on eon's cheapest tariff.
Slight problem with first utility.
I stay in one of these areas.
Shetland
Hebrides
Kirkwall
Inverness
Paisley
Perth
Isle of Wight
Scilly Isles
which they don't supply.
So why do some comparison sites show them at the top of their table even after I have entered my post code?
