Balance Transfer Problems

Hi
I have just done a balance transfer converting 2 of my cards into one however the one transfer has gone thorugh but the other hasn't.
Should they have gone through at the same time or are there different timescales on different providors receiving the funds.
The new card is with the halifax and the two card that the balances are coming form are virign and cap1
What happens if I have given the details incorrectly
