ppi reclaim

im getting quite confused with claiming back the ppi.
its not the same as doing the charges claim is it?

so far, ive cancelled my insurance, and request a break down of my account. after receiving this i noticed i opted out of the insurance when i first signed up to my credit card and have also calculated exactly what im owed!

so the next step takes me onto the questionnaire, do i fill it in and send to my credit card company or straight to the ombudsman?

are there any template letters to go with it?

thanks
kristian

You have to go direct to the company first to let them respond as without a final response from them you can't refer to the ombudsman.
Current advice is to send the questionaire to the company so they get as much info as possible-but scan it so you have a copy for the ombudsman if you have to go that far.
This thread would probably be better in the PPI reclaiming forum rather than the main credit card forum.

    Good luck
