I hope this will help someone.
I recently moved, providing a meter reading 10 days before I moved. I forgot in all the madness to send a final reading on the day.
As a result I got a final estimate bill from Scottish Power.
I rang them to question the bill and they re-estimated to to nearly half the price cheaper.
So do ring them!
On a side note - watch the EDF sales teams, I was approached in town with a promise of saving a massive 10% on my current provider. He failed to mention that they have a price rise coming next week that will wipe that out!
