I live nearer to the new store than to either Prescot or Haydock, but getting out onto the Linkway is so busy I avoided it TBH. Haydock had an OK selection of ladies coats, but there were far more to choose from in Prescot. Also higher quantities in Prescot - but very crowded with shoppers, so possibly sell out quicker. Haydock was really quiet.

Haydock staff advised me to go home and get clubcard vouchers as you can double up on clothing, but they also said that they have been told it is a one day only event. Prescot are not as friendly and didn't know or try to find out for me. Also, more staff around the shop floor in Haydock and it isn't as busy.
I agree with you about prescot not being friendly although the lady was quite helpful and she told me it was on for 3 days as apparantly all stores are fit to burst with coats and knitwear so to make some room they were having a 3 day event. Also prescot had a lot of coats and knitwear, although there were a lot of customers too.

Is anyone else finding that it's taking a while for their double up vouchers to be emailed to them?

    Is cashmere definatly out then

Only includes man-made acrylic. Can't compare with quality of cashmere of course but at £10 you dont expect Mr T to be on a loss making making promotion ;)

Yes fazeypie; I have been (impatiently) waiting for 20-25 mins...
I think there's a lot of request for double up vouchers owing to the sale.I really hope to receive the double ups in time before they run out of the stuff in my basket!!

Actually it'll be 2 hours at 5 past 4. I'd have been quicker driving up to my local store to exchange them! I'd have done that but the nipper was having a nap at the time :(

  • Just spoke to Clubcard customer services who said it is going to be over 2 hrs as they are receiving a lot of exchange requests atm!
