I checked on u-switch and other sitess who I should transfer my energy supply to and they all came out the same ditch BG and get yourself down to Scottish Power and save yourself £254 into the bargain !!
Wow I thought thats more than £20 per month, not to be sniffed at. You can imagine my suprise when all the paperwork came through and SP had calculated my bill to be a mere £8pm cheaper than I had been paying with BG.
I rang up pointing out that they had promised to save me £254 a year but had had in fact only delivered a saving of £96 !! to their credit thay adjusted the figures without question , but it seems to me a bit of a con !
Has anyone else experienced this sort of skullduggery ?

Their calculations are rubbish. Afetr being told how much I would save I used the actual tariff and my fuel consumption to calculate the costs. Surprise... I would have ended up paying more!!!0

the initial monthly payment figure can be way off. I moved supplier and and the monthly dd figure was about £15 too low per month
Price changes around the time of switchover normally confuse them
I keep an eye on everything anyway so I won't get any nasty surprises....Indecision is the key to flexibility0 -
