I'm currently with BG, have been with them 3 months so have got the £53 credit promised to me. I've been on the comparison sites and done all the maths (I've created a spreadsheet that does it all for me) and i've found that the cheapest option is to have Ebico/Equigas for the gas, and Scottish Power Online for the Electric.
I've read lots of good things about Ebico, so I'm quite happy there, but how are Scottish Power?

I'm sure you will find lots of people who have had complaints
There will also be lots of satisfied customers
I would go with the cheapest supplier and keep an eye on how much you are using and their tariff to make sure if you pay by direct debit then you don't get too far into credit or debt
A big percentage of the problems in the electric and gas industry are meters not being read for ages or customers who get into debt by not paying enough because the direct debit was too low and they suddenly get a high bill.
If you read your own meter and keep an eye on how much you pay versus the amount owed you can't go too far wrong. In my experience anyway.
Do you know you can get cashback for switching via quidco and uswitch or quidco for going direct to scottish power ?Indecision is the key to flexibility0
