how to get sky in any room?

Apparently there is a simple way to get sky to show on another tv in your house, without buying any further equipment. Does anyone out there know how to do this? It is legal and does not infringe sky rules and is as simple as changing a plug! Any info would be gratefully received.

you could get a vidoe sender perfectly legal and no wires but you could only whatch whatever channel was on main box if you wanted to watch other channels your only option would be sky multi room for an extra 10 pounds a month0

Thanks for that - it is exactly what I want - just the sky that is on in the living room available in the kitchen - same channel. Had a quick look on ebay and should be able to get one for around £20.0

I got one out of argos at the end of last year for about £28 that works greatAlways looking for a bargain and to help0

I had a one-for-all one and it even worked 2 floors up (Skybox in livingroom and bedroom in loft).0

just watch you dont have a wireless internet connection....the signals may conflict....I think they both transmit at 2.4Ghz.....you could buy from Argos, try and if no good....returnI'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

If you want to save money, use a length of coaxial cable! this will only give mono sound but does that matter? You can add a "magic eye" to give remote control capability. Details here:

The way our Sky is set up is we have another cable going from the out socket on the Sky box into the loft (it's a bungalow) to a booster, and then cables off that into every other room of the house and it sends both the sky and the analogue signal. If you want to change channels in another room you have to buy one of their mouse thingies, but brilliant piccies. No power to it other than it is send via sky via the setting on the box. We had a local one-man-band aerial guy who did it all for us.
He just disconnected the aerials from the second aerial we had for all the other tv's in the house and put them to the booster, so apart from the cable back to the loft no wiring changes (and we did that outside anyway).Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club

(Treaclebob, now you see why it's important to use the "shift" key if you don't want to look stupid).0
