Build & Content Ins - Barclays & Quidco

Hi folks,
Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this query.
I changed buildings & contents insurance to Barclays last Feb to take advantage of cashback (via greasypalm at the time) and the £50 'beat your quote' offer Barclays were running.
Got the renewal quote in today and it's up a £1 or so per month... not much i know but hey this is MSE after all.
I went via Quidco to get a quote from Lloyds (£120 cashback) ... and the quote was about £50 more than Barclays over the year. Did the same with Direct Line (£75 cashback) and it was almost double  .
Now Barclays via Quidco is £125 cashback so i got a 'new' online quote..... it's coming in at £2.33 a month cheaper than my renewal quote  (chancers).
So if i was with ABC insurance i'd be straight back to Barclays to give them my business (and get the £125 cashback of course). However as i'm an existing Barclays customer ..... can i go with them again this year or will my cashback be rejected ?
Would i need to let the policy lapse (cancel it) and then go in as a 'new' customer? Or would this still fail ?
If the worst comes to it i could take the Lloyds policy and still win something from it.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Craig
