River Island - cheeky!

My sister purchased a few items in the winter sale from here, at the till the salesperson had trouble getting the security label off one of the garments she bought (red t shirt), he whispered something to his colleague and continued with the sale very quickly.
After the sale, walking away from the busy tills, we looked at her purchases and there was a gaping hole where the security tag had been, big enough to warrant a refund, she may be my sister but she only needs one whole to put her head through!!
So after queuing up again for 30 mins, the sales assistant decided to question why the return, we explained, then she insisted on getting my sister's name and address, of course a false name and address sufficed as they have no legal right to ask. It felt so out of order that the sales assistant hadn't made us aware of the tear in the first place so that we could make an informed decision about the purchase....very cheeky, but ultimately our fault for not insisting on checking what they were putting in the bag..... know better for next time...naughty naughty River Island...

Ilove going to River Island for a laugh
They are obsessed with headsets, like its the only way to talk to another member of staff is over radio even if they are next to eachother
:j :j0 -
River Island insist on making holes in their clothes!! Recently I tried several Tshirts before I found one which didn't have the thick plastic barb shoved through the sleeve or other conspicuous place.
They sell a lot of cotton jersey items, yet their system doesn't recognise how easily damaged the fabric is. I hate the place, but unfortunately shops for teenage boys are thin on the ground round us. As we speak, DS is walking around with a hole in back of his neck!! (er, T shirt!!)
