Orange....No service for a week now!!

I don't know if it's only in my building, but I have not been able to phone or text out or receive calls or messages from my phone network since last thursday even though the network coverage shows all bars on the display, its so annoying and inconvenient, it's since the severe storm and think that an orange mast must have been taken out, but it seems to work in the basement of the building but not the first floor. I get a "beep beep beep" noise. The reason I think it's only orange is because my partner's phone (also Orange) is also affected but my sis (o2) works fine here.....orange have denyed anything is wrong in this area of the City centre, when I've managed to get through to them, am not sure what to do next....am stuck as i work from home and it is my main phone......anyone else had any trouble?....Am I being over cautious or could someone be using any type of equipment that wuld affect this?

    I'm having a lot of trouble topping up my phone. Sometimes online it says it can't show me my balance or allow me to top up because of a technical issue and then earlier it let me put all my top up info in and then when I submitted it, it said it couldn't do it because of technical work being carried out. It's driving me potty.

    We had a problem with orange, DD in Manchester couldn't use phone or top up after the storms last week, but is fine now. Trying to get through to CS on landline was impossible - went to the shop and they couldn't manage it either!
