I have just done the benefits checker and I am a bit confused... I have done it several times before and been told I am not eligible for working tax credit, but I did it today, and now I am entitled to 90 a week?!!!
I am 24 (25 in Jan), married, 1 child (23 months) who attends nursery 2 mornings a week which we pay for. I do not work at all. Hubby works full time (40 hours) and earns 19k a year. We get £50 child tax credit a week, and the benefit checker has increased this to £59 (which is what we started on but it decreased after her first birthday)
Is the calculator right? Are we entitled to working tax credit? and extra child tax credit? I thought I needed to be working to qualify?
Really confused cos before the checker has said child tax credit only???

Your husband may be able to claim WTC.
If you put your household details into the HMRC's tax credit questionnaire you should get a clearer answer.
