Best money transfer card?

Hi peeps my missus is after a money transfer card on 0% to fund part of a car purchase.

The only one i can find so far is a virgin one. Does anyone know any other decent cards to do this with?

She currently has a Barclays Plat but unfortunately only balance transfers are available on the 0% deal. Would it be possible as a way round this to ask her bank that she has her current account with to give her a overdraft for the amount then buy the car from that - and use the Barclays card to transfer the overdraft balance? Would a overdraft blance count as a balance transfer?

Thanks as always

Lew

Hi No an overdraft balance would not count as a balance transfer.
To put money into your bank account you need a Super Balance Transfer card such as Virgin card. Don't forget though there will be a transfer charge of aprox 4% of the amount you transfer

Over what period does she want the money for?

    Less than 6 months...Virgin Atlantic has a 2% fee for 6 months 0%.

Up to 15 months...M&S Sterling travellers cheques have a 1% fee for 15 months 0%.
