Hi peeps my missus is after a money transfer card on 0% to fund part of a car purchase.
The only one i can find so far is a virgin one. Does anyone know any other decent cards to do this with?
She currently has a Barclays Plat but unfortunately only balance transfers are available on the 0% deal. Would it be possible as a way round this to ask her bank that she has her current account with to give her a overdraft for the amount then buy the car from that - and use the Barclays card to transfer the overdraft balance? Would a overdraft blance count as a balance transfer?
Thanks as always
Lew

Hi No an overdraft balance would not count as a balance transfer.
To put money into your bank account you need a Super Balance Transfer card such as Virgin card. Don't forget though there will be a transfer charge of aprox 4% of the amount you transferMFW 2025 #50: £1989.73/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00
