Just wondered if aanyone else was trying the Beta of Unthink.com (The anti-Facebook social networking site)?
I've just given it a small go. It looks great and makes the right noises about privacy but upon looking at adding details to my profile, when I decided to not share my age I received this message:-
"Please keep in mind lifestyle profiles are anonymous. The more information your profile contains, the more relevant offers you will receive from brands. By clicking OK you are indicating that you don't want this displayed on your anonymous lifestyle profile."
I was under the impression when reading up on this that the site wasn't about advertising but obviously seems to be.
Just wondered of others experiences. Also, to be fair I don't social network anyway through fear of exploitation of information so I was looking for a reason for it to fail
