Help! Am i on economy 7 or not?

Hello, wonder if anyone can help someone who is really confused.
I am currently with British Gas on their fixed online tariff with energysmart, having switched from their standard tariff 2 months ago. I was always under the impression we also had an economy 7 meter and i have closely looked at our meter and it definately appears to be economy 7. However, today i got our bill through and estimated our next bill, i noticed that it gives me the price for tier 1 and tier 2 (24p and 10p approx), but there is no price next to night, which i understand on this tariff is approx 6p an hour (I would post a screenshot, but as a new user i'm not allowed to post links).
I'm aware that tier 2 is charged after the 1st so ever many kilowatts used (can't remember what it is exactly off the top of my head), but does this mean i'm not being charged a night rate? looking at my electricity bills, there is no mention of a night rate either. I am hoping one of you helpful bods may explain it in non technical language!
Thank you.

Look at your bills and see if you're being charged for the combined usage shown for the two rates on your E7 meter.
E7 meters are often not removed even if the customer switches to a single tariff from an E7 one. Instead, the supplier just adds up the usage reported by the meter and charges the total at the contracted single rate, which may well be a two tier tariff.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. Thanks Victor.
It appears they are charging me for the combined usage from the two rates.
I'm guess that confirms we am not on economy 7 like we thought. That may explain our high charges last winter.0
