in Credit cards
Thought I would post this, as it is a positive for once:D!
I went to make an online purchase today, I gave them my card details with the wrong expiry date, so the site I was using rang me to say payment had been declined:eek:. We sorted out my mistake with the expiry date and I thought that was that. Anyway next thing I had a call from CO saying someone had tried to process a transaction using the wrong expiry date, followed by one for £9 and one for £60. She said they had declined them as suspected fraud.
As it worked out the payment should have been £69 and the company had made a mistake with the amount, hence it being 1 x £9 & 1 x £60. I have to say well done to CO though, although it wasn't fraud they were spot on in looking after my interests had it been.
It makes a change for a credit card company to work in your
favour:T for once.
The best bit is the company have processed the payment and dispatched the goods. The ironic thing though is they've still got it wrong and only charged £59 and not £69:rotfl:. No doubt as its over 4 easy payments they will rectify it for next months installment.
Well done Capital One:T:beer::T
