We've got the Loola and it weighs a ton. Its quite deceptive in that the chassis seems light on its own as does the seat unit its just when they're together its really heavy. Having said that though the parent facing advantage is tremendous. My LO still faces me at 10months and we chat on our endless walks.

We also bought the creatis carseat and the Windoo carrycot. The Creatis we liked as she looked so snug and comfy but she quickly outgrew it. She's a big girl (on the 98th centile for height, at 10months is in 12-18month clothes)and her head was peaking over the top at 8months but it was excellent as it just fitted on the chassis and made a real nifty little pushchair that had no bulk to it. The windoo was excellent. But again she outgrew it far to quickly but thats down to genes rather than it being too small. Other people I've known to have one have used it for months. She looked so comfortable in there and we used it as an overnighter when we went on our first holiday (didn't fancy putting a 6week old in a travel cot that smelt of smoke and had ciggy burns in mattress:eek: )

Despite the awkward bar I've found the shopping basket underneath pretty big. can fit a 5kg bag of spuds in there as well as other shopping. It just takes some manovering to fit it in!

forgot to say you can't fit an ordinary parasol on the chassis as its a funny shape and the catch doesn't open out wide enough in my experience so you have to buy the proper one.

and I find the rain cover a fiddle to get on as the zip seems really awkward to manovere around. Thats probably just me and my LO who would rather sit getting soaked than be raincovered in.

also (sorry keep remembering things) we're struggling with the straps at the minute with her in a big coat and when the buggy snuggle is on in that the should straps don't seem to be long enough, they fasten but she is in there so tight she can't move
  • We have the Loola, too!

My lo is 17 months old and still faces me. I bought it from toys r us, got a good deal at the time ( about 19 months ago!).. I wasnt so keen when I saw it in the shop, but it has grown on me, and I have had a lot of positive comments. I have the creatis carseat as well, which he is now outgrown of, but he did look very comfortable in it, compared to other babies that I knew...

I must say, (not that I am a snob!) that I was gutted to see it in the Argos catalogue, as it means a lot more people will have it!

The basket is relatively small and although I guess its a pain, I think that I would have broken the basket if it had been bigger, as I have a tendency to overshop at times!

We have taken our loola abroad many a time, both on plane and by car, and so far had no probs with it. Its fab! Having said that, my mum still struggles to open and close it, despite me showing her a million and one times!

It does fit well in the boot of my car too, even when the car is full of shopping. The covers are quite easily washable too.

I bought it in mind of it lasting more than one child, and I am quite sure it will do, so is in fact, value for money.
Hope I havent waffled on too much!

I have a Graco Liberty Elite - it is forward OR rear facing and a travel system and a pram.

Great value for money as you get the lot.
It's not paranoia if they really are after you.
  • Have finally decided on the Quinny Buzz - getting the 2007 style, but should really get the 2006 one as it's cheaper!!!!

Saw it in the Glasgow pram centre today for £279.99 (although I notice it's £20 more expensive online - so have e-mailed them to ask why). Free UK delivery and the matching car seat is £85.99...

Have decided against the matching carry cot - and will re-use the cosy toes we had from DS.

Looked at the Bugaboo gecko (too fiddly to put up/drop down) Stokke (also too fiddly) I'coo (couldn't find any in the shops) and the Hercules (too big).

Quinny seems to be easy to put up and drop down - particularly the one handed ease of use for setting it up - as will also have 4 yr old son running around so speed is essential.

    Thanks all for advice :T
