Economy 10 Tariff

Beware of changing to the economy 10 tariff. EDF will quote you, arrange the switch and then when the paperwork comes through state 'not available' to new customers. Took us weeks to try and get it then had to cancel the switch and start all over again. Only other company able to offer was Eon - but even they make it very hard for you to use this tariff. We have fitted a Thermaflow boiler designed to work on econ10 tarriff but in England it is almost impossible to get this particular tarriff. Has been worth it though as the boiler is working really efficiently and our costs have plummeted from last year when we were on oil.:)
