Just to ask if anyone else has encountered this. Seeing as Scottish Power are stopping cold calling from the end of this month l feel they may be having one last push.
Had a guy knock at the door today, he knew my name etc (had pc with him) asked if l had recieved the notifications from my suppliers about price increases and asked if l had contacted them to tell them l didn't want to accept the increases. He started to babble on so l asked him just to tell me why he was here as l am not with Scottish Power, he said that it doesn't matter who the supplier is the increases are illegal and mentioned EDF and he was here to check if l would qualify, for what l don't know as l clearly told him at that point l was not interested. He then asked who my suppliers were, l advised him that is doesn't matter goodbye.
It was clearly getting round to be a sales ploy to get me to switch to Scottish Power. As l say they appear to be making the most of the rest of this month.
