if you have a gmail account you can use google pager, or set up a free yahoo account and use geo-cities

What's the website for? Business or Pleasure? Will you be using lots of images and large files? Will you need it banner/advertisement free? Will you need a good domain name or just anythinggiven.com

Go to google.com and enter "Free Web Hosts Directory" without the quotes. the first four entries on the left or so are all directories of free web hosts.
https://www.freewebspace.net in particular is one I've recommended to people in the past, you can search for the type of host you need including special features if you know you'll need them, plus whether or not they have advertising and the amount of space they provide.Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.0
