What instant ISA to use?

Good afternoon,

I noticed today that an ISA i have in TSB is only paying me 0.3%, i never took much notice of it really as i got the 5k that's sitting in there as a payment for an accident that i am still suffering from!!:mad: and was just leaving it as a backup (no pun intended, injury related) but i want to throw it in somewhere that will pay monthly interest and that will allow me to take it out at any point or close the account if i need the moeny without a massive penalty?

The reason for this is that we (me n the wife) are going through ivf and we, HOPEFULLY, will be having a lil one next year so i will be adding an extention on the side of the house so will need the money to start that.

So back to the question, is there anything i should look at putting it in to for say 6 months?

I know I wont get much interest but it should be better than the 0.3% i get now surely?

Any help/guidance will be welcom'd!!

Ring Lloyds they can convert it onto2.35 or 3.3% (if you want it still with Lloyds)
