    My OH is a discharged bankrupt... We cannot move to a bigger house (need extra room for our children and cannot get a council house!) and most agents won't touch BRs!

    It's not even like we overspent and ran up lots of debt! One loan to set up a business and miss sold PPI has left us where we are now. Life sucks! :(

    Sorry guys I can't quote just yet as I havnt made enough posts :dohh:

    I asked on another thread if we were still able to claim our PPI fees back an they think it wont happen for us. That the money will go toward paying the debt... It could infact pay off all or some of the debt and we still have the big "I'm a bankrupt" sign over our heads.

    OHs debt was just over £15,000. If I'd known it would make life do difficult I would have begged and borrowed off everyone I could to pay this off. It's just degrading! :cry:
