New poster, long time lurker!

I went BR 5 years ago, it was fairly straightforward as we already rented and basically had no assets whatsoever. We got to keep our cars (as we lived in the sticks and they weren't worth anyway, our mobile phone contracts (didn't owe them anything and the OR was ok with that) and our just above basic bank accounts. Not the greatest time of our lives but it could've been a lot worse having read people's stories at the time.

Just want to say good luck and you're doing the right thing to any one who's about to do it. It's amazing how well you sleep on the first night of being BR! We went BR is September 2007 and were discharged the following April. If anyone needs any advice or a sounding board then I am happy to help/listen.
