Hi
Have started to fill in form 6.27 and 6.28 prior to court date 7/2/2012. Am okay so far with it all. Except a little unsure on form 6.27.
I have looked at example form just unsure as to what to put.
I have not been BR previously so can cross through all that.
However I have made a couple of payments to 2 creditors last year and was in cccs DMP from July 2009 until Dec 2010.
Do I put that down section (J) I dont want them on petition to see that I have made no attempt as BR step has not been taken easily.
Hope this makes some sense.0 -

Yes, A DMP is not like a DRO/IVA agreed through the court

Hi jayk, hope your form filling goes well and just keep having breaks. Remember that the clerk of the court will go through the forms with you and will help if you need it.
If you need any more help please start a new thread on the main board as I don't want your post getting lost here.
Best wishes

Its section 2 on form 6.27 that people tend to have the most trouble with..
Section 2 consists of 3 paragraphs the first two only apply if you are going bankrupt at the High Court. However, you don't need form 6.27 if you are going Bankrupt at the High Court so these are redundant for the moment.
If you are going Bankrupt at your local County Court you cross out the first two paragraphs of section 2 that relate to the High Court. The Third Paragraph you only cross out the text that is in blue below:-
If you are NOT self employed
I am (f)COLOR=blue]not[/COLOR resident in England and Wales. I am presenting this petition to this county court because within the 6 months immediately preceding the presentation of this petition (f)[I carried on business in England and Wales and for the longest part of the period during which I carried on business in England and Wales within that period of 6 months, the (f)[principal] place of business was situated in the district of (f)[this][……….] county court][I have not carried on business in England and Wales but resided in England and Wales and for the longest part of the period during which I resided in England and Wales within that period of 6 months, I resided in the district of (f)[this][…………] county court]][and in order to expedite the presentation of this petition, I am presenting it to this court as it is the [nearest full time] court (f)COLOR=blue]to my [principal] place of business[/COLOR[for the insolvency district in which I reside].

Every now and then we have had a number of offensive and insensitive comments made on the BR board.
What do we mean by this?
A person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads is know as a Troll. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty! That said there are different writing styles; some brief and some harsh but helpful. If you happen to read them when you are not going through such an emotional time, you may find you are not as offended. So if they have upset you please try not to respond angrily. Most people are simply trying to help.
What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the Poster wants.
So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Report” icon, as shown below:
Click the icon and then "send" the message with the posters name which will inform the MSE team, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the Poster by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM
It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisisPLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"
