Massive confusion regarding credit ratings/reports. Help needed!

I am in desperate need of any help or information regarding my current dilemma.
I’ll try and condenses this as much as possible without waffling on.
Me and my wife are consistent and on time payers for all our financial obligations. I recently applied for a contract phone only to be declined. I was puzzled at this as I always pay everything on time on all my accounts and would have thought getting a phone contract would be no problem at all. This led me to check my credit rating with Experian. My score came back in the top section of the scoring. Great news. What was puzzling though was the only linked accounts on my report was an old, now closed bank account and my mobile phone contract. No mention of my current account, my mortgage, my utility bills. It also said I wasn’t on the electoral register. I called the council and they confirmed I was definitely on the register.
After many frustrating phone calls with Experian they have come to the conclusion that it’s a problem with our address. We live in a new flat that has a bit of a long winded address. Our flat can also come under three different post codes! We use the official Royal Mail one but we still receive letters using two different ones.
I think the next step I need to go down is calling all of the companies and banks I’m associated with and either a) make them all change their records to hold our exact address or b) note down all the different variations that the companies hold and then add them to my credit report with Experian. A hassle indeed. Apparently then all the data will be attached to my report.
Here’s my question though. I’m trying to get my head round all this credit information. Which of these should be linked onto my report?
A joint bank account with my wife. It has a small overdraft.
A mortgage. Again this is with my wife.
A MasterCard credit card.
A phone contract.
Utility accounts. Broadband, electricity, water etc.
Are joint accounts not included with personal credit ratings?
I'm so confused...
Any help with this will be massively appreciated. I’m very confused by this all and I’m slightly worried about it!
Thanks.

The score is meaningless. What counts is what is on your report.

Not a lot it would seem. Not being on the electoral role will scupper your chances of a lot of products.

You won't be able add things to your credit report. The information will have to come from the companies that report to Experian.

Perhaps Experian can combine your multiple postcodes?
There is an Experian rep on this forum. They might be able to help.0 -
Thank you for your quick responce. The chap who I spoke to at Experian said that if I could log all the different address combos I could update that on the My Details section within my Experian account and then hopefully the data would start to come through. Thanks again for your reply.0
