Item pick up

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
I bought a uni textbook and ended up collecting it and paying the other eBay member in cash. Logging back into ebay I noticed that it still shows as requiring payment. Is there anyway I can mark this as paid or is it something the seller needs to do?

    You can mark it as payment sent in your ebay if you wish

    I don't seem to have that option. As the item was originally down as being post only but I arranged pick up with the seller. So it wants me to go to paypal and make the payment.

    Get the seller to mark as payed

    In your purchase history page in My Ebay, on the right side of the item there should be a "more actions" pull down menu which contains "Mark as payment sent"
