The cheapest electricity only supplier is one on a dual fuel tariff where you don't use the gas!
I'll note as an aside that ASHP is only marginally better than gas, if you use enough that the first unit rate no longer applies over winter.
Do you have actual COP figures for your heatpump, as it varies with outside temp, and your installation?
I'm currently pondering running a heatpump on economy 7.
Now that's cheap heat.0 -
I'm still on a single rate domestic tariff for mine. But i've not been through a winter yet.
Think i might wait until next year before making a final decision.0 -

I've just had Southern end my tariff (31/12) and though I am electric only, I do have a gas meter and connection and a dual fuel would be a couple of hundred pounds better than the Southern alternative.0 -

Hard to say as you don't say how it is setup up e.g. do you run a thermal store with UFH laid in a slab or simply oversized rads or fan convectors? What is your daily useage?
I just use nPower signonline 21 which works out fine but now have 4kwp solar pv so that may change at some point. My ASHP is connected to fan convectors/ufh so runs during the day only.
Were you on LPG before?0
