Unit Trusts / OEIC Reports & Documentation

What do the managers of Unit Trusts / OEIC have to provide in the way of documentation, accounts, reports etc...?
And is such information supposed to be easily available for the private investor, i.e. not available in some IFA's £££££ portal?
I find it hard to find anything "official" about Fidelity's funds, for example.
With an Investment Trust I can read the annual report, and many choose to do monthly newsletters etc...

Cancellation rights, contract note, statement, tax voucher. And is such information supposed to be easily available for the private investor, i.e. not available in some IFA's £££££ portal?
Most additional information things, like factsheets and accounts are available upon request or from their website. Further data is available to research companies (Lipper, Citywire, Trustnet, Morningstar) and they will decide how much they will make available on the free sites for individuals and how much they hold back for the paid for versions.I find it hard to find anything "official" about Fidelity's funds, for example.

As you can with UT/OEICs. Some do quarterly/half yearly newsletters. Monthly is a bit overkill.
On the application, there is often a box to tick to opt in to annual reports. By default it is opt out.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
