I agree with wobey tide, £1K per cubic metre is a good approx guess. Also get the cost for if you supply all the materials and he only supplies the labour.0

I agree with debt free chick in that its not very likely that the foundations will be substantial enough to support another floor.. please make sure you get a proper survey done to substantiate exactly how deep the foundations are if there are no records the only way to tell is by digging down outside...and don't let some cowboy builder tell you "it'll be ok" because it really won't.....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

So a single storey utility and w/c 3m X 2m (& 2m high) would cost £12K? We are in South Yorkshire and this seems a lot.
