I hope this makes sense! Is there an optimum use-ability length for a USB extension lead? (It pertains to the use of a PS3 and move camera)

Depends on device, but single cable maximum is 5m (about 16 ft).
If you're desperate, you can use hubs to link four or five cables in series.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
My team once had to set up some of those interactive whiteboards in a college. They used USB input but were almost 7 metres away so we used a standard 5 metre USB extension couple iwth a 5 metre USB amplified extender.
I can't remember the brand of them but I believe they now come in lengths of up to 10 metres without coupling. Something similar here http://www.dinodirect.com/wholesale-extension-cable-usb-amplifier-chip-10m.html0 -
Thanks, it's only one cable and 5m should do it, because it's the camera for 'the PS3 move' do you know if I need to be concerned about speed rates and stuff?0

Judging by the number of people advertising 5m cables for the Eye, you should be OK.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
