Santander Zero credit card and cash withdrawals

Hi,
I have a Santander Zero credit card. I want to know if I use the credit card abroad to withdraw cash from an ATM will I get charged anything. I always pay my balance off in full automatically via direct debit. So lets say at the beggining of the month I take out 100£ worth of Euros. Will I be charged interest on the 100£ when I pay off in the full the amount when its due?
I have conflicting information
1) I phoned Santander zero - they said it would cost me 1/12 of 27.9% in interest
2) My friend has Santander zero and says he doesn't get charged anything.
Anyone else have an opinion or know how to get the exact answer?
Thanks,
Chris

You get charged interest on cash withdrawals from the day of withdrawal (thereis no interest free period), apart from that there are no charges from Santander (obviously some cashpoint owners may charge a fee).
I'd presume your friend only uses their card for purchases.0 -
If you log on and send a faster payment to Santander then you'll only be charged for the days between the withdrawal and the payment.
But yes, there is no interest free period on cash withdrawals.0
