have you tried safe mode and username administrator and no password?

Re the boot CD, you have to create the CD with nero and a CD writer, stick it in the drive and reboot.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

    Hi Annie

Are there any other accounts created on your son's pc ?
    Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.

Im pretty sure that if you boot up in safe mode F8 and then log on as admin you dont need a password and from there you can remove other user account passwords.

Ooops I see youve tried that already :o

    Or

On the logon screen, hold CTRL+ALT and press DEL twice Then as the user, put Administrator Leave the password blank.
