Late delivery of pram - need advice on options please!

We ordered an ICandy pram and pushchair back in July and were informed at the time that this would be delivered in Oct, though we were not given a specific date. At the time of ordering we paid for the pram in full.
We started to query exact delivery dates in late September and our retailer has been chasing these and trying to secure a date from the company and we have continued to do this through October, when we were informed that the delivery was likely to be November.
We are now in the situation where our baby is due to arrive any day now and the retailer has contacted us to say that delivery is likely to be late November/early December, pushed back again. We are now obviously very anxious that baby will arrive before delivery and we will have no pram.
Our retailer has today offered us a full refund should we want to choose another option, but to me this is completely unacceptable to have to be trying to sort this out at this late stage when the baby is due any day. In addition it's also stressful given that we ordered the pram early to avoid exactly this type of situation.
Do we have any consumer rights or options worth pursuing here, can anyone please advise?
To be in the situation at this late stage where we will have to a) choose another pram or b) go to more expense and perhaps buy a temporary pram for a few weeks is both annoying and very frustrating.

All the retailer is obliged to do is refund you in full. You are not entitled to any compensation, although they may consider a goodwill gesture if pushed.0

you didn't have to stick with that retailer, you could have bailed to an alternative at a period before now - as above, full refund to return you to your original position is all they are required to do (birth of baby is at times and unpredictable event, so the timing now and the lack of pram is not the retailers fault here).0

Read the T&Cs for the company you bought from, almost certainly they specify that delivery dates are estimates and therefore not binding. As such the best you can get from them is a cancellation of the purchase and a refund.
Unless you're happy to go for another model or look for another retailer it is unlikely there is anything they are going to be able to do for you. There is a chance they may give you a GoG if you went for a higher model and discount its price slightly to represent the inconvenience you've had but you'd have no right to demand it0
