Paypal issue with Toys r us

Hi
My wife purchased items from toys r us to the value of £129.95. After the items arrived she received an email stating that the paypal payment could not be made, I think due to "insufficient funds". This was not the case as my monthly pay had just gone in and other things were bought using paypal after this item.
My wife called paypal and said it was something to do with an item not actually coming from toy r us but a different supplier. She was told to keep checking our account to see if the payment is debited.
Checking the account showed a payment of £49.99 being debited from our account at roughly the time of purchase. I should state that £129.95 is the total goods my wife purchased from toy r us, so I assume the price of the item that no payment has been made is approx £80.
My wife has now received an email from toys r us demanding payment of goods already received to the tune of £129.95???
Surely goods are only sent out once payment has been received/cleared? Am I obliged to pay this or is it their error?
Any help would be gratefully received and thanks for your time.

You need to make arrangements to pay what you owe them. Doesn't matter whose error it is.0

you ARE obliged to pay, you have the goods.0
