Had issue with Tissot bought from them and contacted them. Asked to send the watch back for repair. After waiting months they sent me back a different broken watch, sent it back again and they apologised and then sent me back the same broken watch. Complained again and sent watch back - they will not respond to email, phone or letter, gone through small claims but they have now moved location and changed name to The-timebandits got that right total bandits.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am now out of pocket £345 and don't even have a broken watch.
If anyone has a current address please let us know so we can chase the debt.
When you search for Thewatchgaint.com, you are now forwarded to the-timebandit.com

On their contact us webpage, they have an address of:
CHEETHAMS MILL, PARK ST, STALYBRIDGE, CHESHIRE, SK152BT
    with a phone number of: 0161 637 2109

That contact info is exactly the same as that which is now in the whois record linked from post #2, thus helping to confirm that they are one and the same.

Their Terms and Conditions are the same as quoted in post #2 and are still just as illegal.

    Edited to add:
However, the whois record for the-timebandit.com shows the registrant's address to be in Thirsk, North Yorkshire (note that Thirsk is mentioned in post #2).

So MrBurston, you now have two addresses and two phone numbers to follow up.

    Hi all,

Felt like i needed to chip in here. First post on MSE yes, but created this account purely for this post (and hopefully more).

Quick background, I have 3 watches from what was then "Watch Giant". looked to browse for a 4th today to find that the website has gone, which led me to this thread and now this post.

In my experience of Watch Giant, the postage has been instantaneous and email responses realistic. The watches seem legit (to my untrained eye) and i've had a couple for a few years now with no issues except a battery replacement on all 3.

I've taken these to various watch shops for battery replacements and not heard anything about any (Boss or Armani) being fake.

HOWEVER; I am very concerned about friendlyspider's post about taking the watches to Armani. I shall be taking mine to an official source when I get some time.

Also very suspicious why the company has changed names so many times with the exact same website??

My conclusion: these watches look/feel/tick exactly like watches from high street retailers (i've already checked this). BUT this if they are fake I will be avoiding this company at all costs - I will post back here after theyve been checked

I watched a BBC1 show on fakes and illegally imported goods, Domic Littlewood?

They raided a warehouse full of watches. They said they were brilliant fakes. Correct boxes, paperwork, warranty stamps etc etc.... Had the correct sweep not a tick tick tick...

    Still fakes though.

I purchsaed a Tissot watch for my husband's 50th Birthday in Mch 2013, stopped working - couldn't contact Watch Giant as no longer trading so sent to Tissot for repair under their guarantee. Today told by Tissot that the watch is counterfeit and that they had had The Watch Giant closed down by Trading Standards for selling fakes. This is despite all their paperwork having "all our products are genuine" all over them!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS if they are now the TimeBandits don't use them as their goods will be fake too.
