I'm currently on holiday in Florida and having been in a couple of games shops, it's remarkable to see how cheap the gaming systems are here PS3 etc.
Here's where I am seeking help. The Nintendo Wii is $250.00 around 120GBP ( aren't they around 200GBP in UK?) but this will obviously be on NTSC system and will not have 240 volt connectors.
There are travel plugs that you can buy in the US for converting to use in UK plug sockets - presumably if I got one of these it would work back at home?
Would the leads - scart be accepted into UK TV's?
I realise that the Wii would only play NTSC games and not PAL but they are cheap enough to buy here and through ebay.
My son currently has a modified PS2 that plays NTSC games - does this therefore mean that modified Wii games would also play on a Wii back home?
We are due to leave on Sasturday, so any help would be appreciated.

One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

You are going to need to buy a USA style Transformer to allow you use this american unit on UK electric. And the Wii here is £179.99 (once you get 1 that is)
Dont believe the Wii has been cracked YetMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
