Letting Agent

Any advice on how I can deal with unscrupulous letting agent, Foxton.
Wants full commision on 2nd year rental although no work has been done, i.e. looking for tenants, contract, references, etc.
They found tenants in first year for which they collected full commission.
Second year, I automatically renewed the contract when one of the 4 tenants left and was replaced by someone new.
They also lied to me that that was a corporate tenancy and therefore they had to manage the property and tried to get extra 6% commission on top of the 11%.
Advise please.

have you read the contract you signed with them at the beginning ? - many folks dont bother, and then the !!!!!! hits the fan when they realise what they have agreed to.l0

yep read the contract as some agents will have somewhere that if a new term is agreed then the usual fee will be payable.

What if the Agent lied to say it was a Corporate tenant and you realised later that it was not.
They turn up at your house with the contract to get it signed without giving you the opportunity to read.0 -

Don't want to have a go or anything but why would you sign a contract without signing?0
